“Engineers and students working together on practical projects in the school and community.”

Every year the Transpower Neighbourhood Engineers Awards gives prizes to the best and most innovative collaboration between students, teachers and volunteer engineers. These awards offer students the opportunity to work with engineers on practical projects in the school and community as well as providing a creative way to enhance the Technology curriculum.

This website provides information about the awards, how to enter, the judging criteria and examples of projects undertaken by past winners.

Engineering New Zealand congratulates all the teams that participated in the 2017 Awards. We look forward to working with you again next year!
